    Safe and Simple Fueling

    Prepare Your Vessel Before Fueling

    For the safety of everyone on the fuel dock, boaters should follow the instructions provided by the marina personnel and observe all posted rules.

    Before Fueling

    Turn off engines, generators, electronics, and anything that could produce hear or a spark. Extinguish smoking materials and open flames before approaching the pump.

    During Fueling

    Keep the nozzle in contact with the fuel fill, remain with your vessel, and follow all instructions from the fuel dock team.

    Before Restarting

    Secure the fuel cap, check for spills or fuel odors, and ventilate enclosed spaces before restarting the engine(s).
